Imagine waking up to the gentle breeze brushing in through the open sliding doors, the scent of tropical flowers in the air and a lush garden awaiting you. Villa Priya is its own little village, and fittingly it is inspired by a traditional village. Twisting waterways flow throughout this space, complemented by lush, native greenery and traditional living spaces. This villa is the epitome of Balinese charm and the bedrooms are in Javanese Joglos, traditional vernacular homes of theJavanesepeople. The traditional style housing offers tranquillity and an authentic experience. Each living space is accessible along the wooden path that winds through the tropical coconut palms and other trees. Getting around this villa is unique, and it creates a sense of adventure as if you are on your own tropical island miles and miles away from anyone else. There are many separate sleeping areas at Villa Priya, sleeping up to eighteen, with nine bedrooms, some of which are separate and others that are attached. These attached, two bedroom options are great for families. Each villa, or Joglo, is complete with artefacts and treasures sourced locally and from other Indonesian areas. As you step into each villa, a sense of tranquilly and Balinese charm is felt from the wooden interior and exterior to the decor that adorns each room. Each villa has a living space, bedrooms and also bathrooms that feature the ultimate indoor-outdoor flow, with rain showers and stunning tubs. Relaxing is not hard at Villa Priya. There are plenty of living space opportunities at this villa, or should we say mini village. There is a kitchen, a bar, a library/television room and a living room, as well as a lobby that has plenty of seating areas for some downtime. Everyone can sit down to enjoy a meal in the dining room, a room with no walls so you can enjoy the tropical weather – but seek shelter from the sun or any tropical rain. The dining room is also home to optional cooking classes, should the group want to further explore the local traditions and cultures. As with many homes, the living area is at the heart of the home. The timber Joglo houses classic chairs and cosy sofas, white drapes flow through the room acting as floating room dividers. The library and television room is a multi-functional space, in other words, it is the ultimate relaxation spot for some downtime. A large screen television sits in the room for movie night, couches welcome weary souls ready to get lost in their latest novel and there are even books and publications for anyone who forgot their reading material. A village would be incomplete without a private pool...and the private pool at Villa Priya is a standout feature. Its a T-shaped pool, with crystal clear water that encourages you to take a dip. Spend the day by the pool, lounging on one of the sun chairs, lost in your own tropical haven. #### Features The Villa Villa Priya is a 9-bedroom Estate, that is able to sleep up to 18-guests. There is still plenty to do and see in the area, which is rich in productive rice fields and local communities who preserve the rich cultural values of Bali.
