Entry into the apartment is via a shared corridor to another adjacent apartment. The front door of the apartment opens onto the living and dining room, furnished with a 3 seater lounge chair (with sofa bed option), flatscreen TV, dining table for 4 and a small kitchenette with electrical cook top and basic appliances. Off the living room is the master double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The bedroom is bright and airy with high ceilings and lots of natural light and enjoys a double glass door that opens out onto a small furnished terrace. The bedroom has A/C and there is ample storage space including a chest of drawers and a wardrobe area. The ensuite bathroom is modern and compact and includes an enclosed shower, wash basin, toilet and bidet. If you need to bring a car, there is paid parking 50 metres from the apartment building. By day, the street is filled with shops and markets, with many pizza restaurants blending into the graffiti filled streetscape. At night, the street comes to life. There are people strolling. There are people eating. There are even people moving furniture. The neighbourhood itself feels like a small and picturesque village within the city. The atmosphere is very lively with small narrow streets offering a mix of residential and retail with markets, craft shops, museums, churches, cafes, bakeries, pastry shops and excellent restaurants and pizzerias. Spaccanapoli is just around the corner and is teeming with life. There are plenty of artistic and cultural attractions to visit nearby including San Gregorio Armeno, the church of Santa Chiara, Piazza del Gesù, Piazza San Domenico and entry to the must see Roman-Greco underground city of Neapolis. Il Limoncello is well-connected to the city’s other cultural and historical spendours, either on foot or by bus and subway. The apartment is just minutes to major transport routes, including two metro lines (Line 1 “Museum”, and Line 2 “Piazza Cavour”). Also, easily accessible on foot is the Angevin, the Beverello (where ferries and hydrofoils to Capri, Ischia, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast depart), Via Toledo/Roma for shopping, Via Caracciolo and Castel dellOvo for the funicular (cable car) to the more elite Vomero district, Certosa di San Martino and Castel Sant Elmo.
