Laid out in a split-level fashion over four floors, the open plan lounge and dining room is on the lower level and opens to the front terrace and garden. To one side is the large fully equipped kitchen and breakfast room, which also leads to the garden and swimming pool; to the other is the ground floor bedroom and adjoining shower room. The Master Bedroom with dressing area and en-suite shower room is on the first floor, alongside a second open-plan sitting/leisure area with PlayStation 4 which leads to the very large front and side terrace where you can either laze on a sunbed or contemplate the wonderful views to Funchal and the sea. Half a floor above are the last two bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with two single beds) which share a Jack and Jill bathroom and have private balconies. With 230º views over the bay and town of Funchal and the ocean, which makes it perfect spot to watch the New Year’s Eve Fireworks, the roof terrace also boasts a hot tub, where you can laze away with a glass in your hand. The large mature garden is a wonderful place to be perfect for a quiet read or simply to contemplate the wonderful views. The whole west garden is given over to the enormous pool (optionally heated) and accompanying solarium with sun loungers. Here is also the large built-in barbecue and outdoor dining facilities. There will be few villas in Madeira that can match everything BelAir Villa has to offer. This villa in Funchal is only 600 metres from the nearest supermarket, and one kilometre from both the largest shopping mall and largest hypermarket on the island. Funchal town centre is only 4 Km away, and easily reached by public transport or a reasonably priced taxi. The added bonus is that the access to the motorway is less than a kilometre away, allowing an easy access to explore the island or for levada walking in Madeira. The largest hypermarket on the island, bank, pharmacy, and other shops are only 1Km away. Internet This property has a broadband internet connection with a Wi-Fi point, free for guest’s use. We are happy to send you an internet speedtest if you are coming for work and require high speed broadband. Contracted speed (Mbps): 100 Cleaning Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days. All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool. For health reasons, line for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own. Booking notes The rental value varies with the number of people occupying the property, so please ensure you enter the correct dates, number of adults, children and infants. Please note that supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time. To secure your reservation, a deposit is required, or the full amount if within 8 weeks or arrival. Should you cancel up to 8 weeks prior to arrival only the deposit is non-refundable, and within this period the full amount. A security deposit of 300€ is required by credit card prior to check-in.
