Carvoeiro has a glorious coastline formed of towering cliffs, turquoise waters and picturesque beaches. The region’s coastline is dominated by immense limestone cliffs, while the beaches of Carvoeiro are found within sheltered coves or at the mouths eroded valleys. The Praia do Vale Centeanes is the starting point of the outstanding Sete Vales Suspensos hiking route, which, after navigating 5.5km of dramatic coastline leads to the beautiful Praia da Marinha, the best beach of the region. Carvoeiro has so much to offer, and is the perfect blend of Portuguese heritage with modern holiday facilities and services. The region will appeal to outdoor types and nature lovers, as there are multiple activities, including; sea kayaking along the coast, challenging hiking routes or cycle along the empty roads. The one group of tourists Carvoeiro is not really suited for are groups looking to party and have a drink-fuelled holiday, for this head to the Strip in Albufeira or Praia da Rocha. The main airport of the Algarve is Faro airport, and is 64 km to the east of Carvoeiro. Faro airport is a major international airport with flights covering the majority of Europe, and this includes all of the low-cost airlines. This means that if flights are booked far enough in-advance, there is a good chance of finding very cheap tickets to the Algarve, even in the summer. The studio is fully equipped for two persons. There is a double bed, closet, small bath with shower, dining place and kitchenette. Our guests can use the barbecue table for alfresco meals in the garden.
