This stunning hacienda on the Croatian island of Brac is the perfect place for up to 10 guests to enjoy an incredibly picturesque destination. Exquisitely styled and extremely well equipped, it features a tennis court, basketball court, gym and a huge 32 sqm swimming pool, among many other facilities. Just 800m from the sea, the villa is located in the town of Milna, around 18km from Supetar, the islands main port. From here you can enjoy ferry trips to the mainland where some of the finest spots on the Adriatic coast await you, including Split and Makarska. The nearby islands of Hvar, Solta and Korcula are also well worth visiting, each offering beautiful scenery and beaches. The vast outdoor space of this property makes it a stand-out. As well as the pool and terrace with sun loungers, seating, barbecue and dining areas, you have tennis, basketball, mini-golf, a soccer pitch and table tennis. In addition, look out for a childrens playground, a gym and bicycles which you can borrow to explore the island. Inside, you have an attractive living room and kitchen, which is both supremely elegant and packed with appliances including a coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with ice maker. Another treat is the wine cellar, the ideal place to try Croatias finest vintages and local delicacies. You have four bedrooms and four bathrooms, and an upper terrace with gorgeous views and more space to relax. Younger guests will love to escape to the games room where there are a pool table and table football – and there is also free Wi-Fi to enjoy throughout the property. The island is a lovely place to go exploring. You might want to start in Supetar, its largest town with a pretty harbour and lots of charming eateries. After that, you can head for some great beaches – the 1km beach of Zlatni Rat is one of Bracs most popular. For a more unconventional swim, you might even seek out the former submarine pens in the bays of in Maslinova, Kruscica and Smrka. #### Features The Villa Villa Ayo is located in a peaceful, private place and extends over 10,000 m2 of land near in Milna on island Brac. Considered less touristy than Hvar or Korcula to the south, you will be charmed by its pretty harbours, forests and the islands authentic feel. Brac is perhaps most famous for its beautiful white stone which was used to construct Diocletians Palace in Split, just across the water on the Croatian mainland. Its possible to combine a trip to both the island and the mainland, with regular ferry links to Brac from the major centres of Split and Makarska. Its a geographically impressive island, with numerous beautiful beaches, harbours, vineyards and mountains. You should certainly seek out Vidova Gora, the highest peak on the island (indeed, the highest on all the Adriatic islands), which offers some fabulous views at 778m altitude. The scenery will impress wherever you go on Brac, so its worth taking the time to explore as much as possible. You may arrive on the island at Supetar, its largest town – dont pass through too quickly or you will miss its pretty harbour and medieval street network which plays host to lots of little shops and charming cafes, as well as an 18th-century church. On the opposite coast, Bol is the home of one of Bracs most popular beaches, Zlatni Rat which extends into the Adriatic and offers great windsurfing conditions. While youre on Brac, you may also be tempted to check out the neighbouring island of Solta. You can now take a catamaran trip from Milna to Rogac, avoiding the need to cross to the mainland and back out as used to be the case. Its well worth the 20-minute crossing, particularly to visit the award-winning destination of Maslinica with its beautiful pine woods and secluded, rocky beaches.
