Albert House is a grade II listed building and the former home of racehorse trainer for Albert House Stables which used to adjoin the rear of the house in the mid 18th century. The house has undergone many alterations and improvements since this time and now provides spacious accommodation packed with period features. Set back from the road the house is hidden by mature trees with a walled enclosed garden providing a great level of privacy as well as off road parking. The garden is laid to lawn with a patio area and border planting. Albert House has a spacious living room and dining room with a large wooden table and original wood floors, with plenty of room for up to 12 people to sit around enjoying a lovely meal together. Just off the dining room, you will find the period oak kitchen, equipped with a large Aga and breakfast table. There is a separate Chippendale staircase leading to two good sized bedrooms, one single and one double, with access to a shower room and WC. There are is also a further two large bedrooms with ornately carved wardrobes, one of which has an ensuite shower room and two attic rooms with exposed beams. The first and second floor also boast two family bathrooms with roll top baths a period marble basin and rare George Jennings tilting sink.
