This is an extremely traditional village that still uses the blossom of sour orange trees to produce rose water. The quaint village is charming to simply wander around and boasts plenty of sights to see. Many festivals and celebrations take place in the village, including The St. Antoine festival, The St. John festival and the rosewater festival that takes place during the springtime. The Byzantine church of Panagia in the village is a beautiful piece of architecture worth seeing. In the centre of the village lies a Turkish mosque as well as the villages central spring water fountain. The mosque was previously a church dedicated to St. Nicolas and is also home to a Turkish coffee shop.
