At just a fifteen-minute stroll away, the villages best-known feature is its striking whitewashed church. From the church, visitors can enjoy brilliant vistas over the island before heading to one of the villages two bars. The quiet village hosts two festivals. One on 16th July honouring Our Lady of Carmen, a saint of the sailors. The other is centred around Spanish nun Saint Teresa of Jesus on 15th October.
