A short distance away is the promontory of Capo Testa which is one of the cult sites of the Mediterranean. It stands right in front of the white rocks of Corsica and falls into one of the most wild and evocative stretches of sea in the world, that of the Bocche di Bonifacio. It is located 5 km west of Santa Teresa di Gallura and can be reached through a narrow sandy isthmus formed by the Rena di Ponente and Rena di Levante beaches. To characterize its landscape, its gigantic boulders of unusual shapes, the cyclopic granite-gray cliffs of gray-pink colour, changing in the light of day.
