This charming 2 Bedroom apartment with shared pool is set within a peaceful area of Fuseta. Fuseta is a small village that has about 1 900 inhabitants and is located on the leeward coast of Algarve, in the district of Faro. Although the main activity of Fuseta continues to be fishing and the exploitation of its derivatives, over time it began to arouse much interest from the tourists. This interest can be explained by its traditional nature, its proximity with Ria Formosa (very close to the island of Armona), the magnificent island of Fuseta and by the campsite that has hundreds of visitors every summer. It is very common to find here several restaurants that offer numerous delicacies of fish and fresh seafood. Fuseta has a beach and an island. The first is considered the only accessible and viable beach for bathing in the municipality of Olhão, the second is a true paradise accessible by boat from Fuseta (about 10 minutes) or from Olhão. In Fuseta the boats depart from the dock next to the campsite, where an Aqua Taxi can be used – the telephone number for an Aqua Taxi Service can be found at the end of this book. This island can be considered as new, since in 2010 after the sea has flooded some existing housing there, those in charge decided to clean the entire beach and redo the same. As a result of this intervention the beach became cleaner and remained without any permanent housing. Separating the Atlantic Ocean from the Ria Formosa, the island of Fuseta presents a calm sea and its white sand stretches for several kilometers, being perfect for children to play. This island has one of the most crystalline waters of the Algarve and is perfect for those looking for activities that complement their leisure days, with equipment for sailing, canoeing or windsurfing.
