Delicately cradled on a peninsula, theres an ancient seaside citadel in a prominent part of the medieval Old Town, known as the Stari Grad. Here, youll find historic churches such as St. John the Baptist, which has parts dating back to the 9th century and Holy Trinity, made of beautiful pink and honey coloured stone. There are also four monasteries called Stanjevici, Podmaine, Rezevici and Gradiste.
