With spectacular views of the shimmering Adriatic Sea all around, airy open plan living is taken to new heights with Villa Jutro. With not one but two private pools to take a refreshing dip in and an enviable terrace to watch stunning sunsets, this villa is the perfect place to unwind. Juxtaposing slick modern interiors with ancient Montenegrin style exteriors, this villa has been carefully curated and is evocative of a glamorous Balkan farmhouse. Layers of stonework, buttermilk walls and dramatic archways frame the exquisite view, using rocks and natural materials in order to harmonise with the environment and be mindful of the elements. One swimming pool is on the ground level, with cooling turquoise water and a row of sunbeds to soak up the Mediterranean rays. The other is a gorgeous rooftop pool, where you can take a relaxing swim, catching glimpses of the glittering Adriatic Sea in the distance. This means theres plenty of space for everyone to swim in peace. Ascend the swirly gold decorated staircase to find six charming bedrooms decorated in shades of coffee and cream, with smart wooden floors. These bedrooms can sleep up to 12 guests, with two additional beds available on request. Luxurious double beds with crisp linen and plush headboards make up the focal point, while colourful drapes flutter in the breeze coming through the floor to ceiling windows. The lucky guests who stay in the master bedroom enjoy access to a private terrace with comfortable seating to gaze out at the dreamy view, do yoga or sunbathe. Shiny red lacquer paneling is a prominent feature in the kitchen and living room, giving the downstairs a contrasting, futuristic feel. Theres a flat screen television that is absolutely ideal to gather around for movie nights. Colourful accents add personality, while the furniture is an aesthetic mixture of wood and glass, teamed with soft grey sofas and dotted with plants. The green foliage helps to bring a little of the Mediterranean outdoors in. #### Features The Villa Villa Jutro is split into two identical apartments, each with 3-bedrooms. Tucked away in charming Krimcova yet extremely close to all of Budvas amenities and nightlife, guests staying at Villa Jutro really have the best of both worlds. The villa is just 3km from some of the most exciting and serene beaches in Montenegro including Jaz, Trsteno and Ploce. Lively and picturesque, Budva is a buzzing hive of activity and the most popular holiday destination within Montenegro. With its imposing stone Venetian walls that once guarded the city from intruders and its cosmopolitan cafes and nightlife, Budva is the beating heart of this stunning Balkan country. A beach day is always a winner in Montenegro. Known as the Budva Riviera, there are no fewer than 17 named beaches that stretch along the coastline from Jaz to Buljarica. Some great choices for a beach day include Becici beach, where you can go paragliding, and Kamenow, with its crystal-clear turquoise waters and powdery sand. Mogren beach is the closest to the Old Town, while Jaz beach got the top spot in Lonely Planets best beaches in Europe. Stop at a seaside cafe for some fresh seafood and a glass of local wine. Delicately cradled on a peninsula, theres an ancient seaside citadel in a prominent part of the medieval Old Town, known as the Stari Grad. Here, youll find historic churches such as St. John the Baptist, which has parts dating back to the 9th century and Holy Trinity, made of beautiful pink and honey coloured stone. There are also four monasteries called Stanjevici, Podmaine, Rezevici and Gradiste in the Old Town. Get pleasantly lost, discovering hidden nooks and crannies around the narrow streets and alleyways that make up the pedestrian-only Old Town. There are many boutiques and street stalls to discover here, and several piazzas to enjoy a coffee and people watch. For art lovers, visit the Modern Gallery that features work of Montenegrin and former Yugoslavian artists. History buffs will love the ethnographic City Museum of Budva, which has a comprehensive overview of the towns past, with Hellenic items like vases & jewellery. There is a myriad of scenic hiking trails around the local area, including the Seven Bay Trail, with dramatic sweeping landscapes from Buvan to Sveti Stefan, a luxury resort. Take in several of the regions most beautiful beaches along the way. Another impressive and challenging hike is the Buvan to Majstori trail, which climbs over 3000m in elevation over the sea and coastline dotted with tiny local villages. In summer, the town has a summer festival, with open air theatre and plenty of opportunities to see local dancing displays and folk music. International DJs play at beach parties - particularly Jaz beach - while revelers sip cocktails and dance the night away. Theres an infectious festival atmosphere around the whole town - its easy to see why Budva is Montenegros most-visited holiday destination. Day trips from Budva include Tivat, which could be mistaken for Monaco, due to the luxury yachts that bob in Porto Montenegro, the famous marina. Sunsets over the bay are often spectacular - park yourself at a seafront cafe for a coffee or some delicious local ice cream and watch the sky light on fire. Another lovely place to explore is enchanting Boka Bay. Encircled by mountains, the bay is also known as the Bride of the Adriatic and is a one of a kind geological formation similar to a Scandinavian fjord. A riot of colourful flowers bloom every spring around the jagged coastline, and the bay is dotted with tiny medieval villages, looming cliffs and with bright blue inlets. There are plenty of boat trips you can take to neighbouring bays such as Kotor and Cetinje, or even as far as Dubrovnik in Croatia.
