We recommend hiring bikes nearby and taking a scenic trip around the neighbourhood, including the world-famous golf courses just short ride away! The closest beach is 7km away in Quinta do Lago. Once an expanse of pine forests and empty beaches, Vale do Lobo has been transformed into the height of luxury over the last 50 years. The first of the three corners of what is now Algarves Golden Triangle, Vale do Lobo was among the first tourist resorts ever to be built in Portugal, and indeed is the site of the first five-star hotel in the Algarve!
