Villa La Cala Playa is a fantastic contemporary 5 bedroom property in the very popular resort of La Cala De Mijas, just a stones throw from the long sandy beach and a short stroll from the resort centre. Here you can find an array of great restaurants to suit everyones tastes. Back at the villa you will have high quality furnishings, a large private pool and 2 living areas - great for families and large groups. Air conditioning/heating in all the bedrooms and both lounges, pool heating plus WiFi are included. The Space: Swimming pool, pool terrace and sunbathing area The large private south-facing swimming pool has Roman steps for easy access as well as a ladder. It can be accessed up 4 steps from the seating area in the villa. There is a raised sunbathing terrace to one side and another terrace is opposite. To the side of the villa is a pergola housing a dining table and chairs, plus brick BBQ and outdoor kitchen. This is ideal for alfresco meals. Next to it is a comfortable seating area and artificial lawn. Please note that there is no access to the upper terrace next to the pool. Entrance The entrance is through double antique wooden gate from the side street, which leads you up 3 steps to the main entrance of the villa. Even though a car is not necessary, there is on road parking if you decide to hire one. Living spaces The main lounge is on the ground floor and revolves around a lovely indoor atrium garden. There is comfortable seating, a flat screen TV and a feature fireplace. Adjacent is a spacious and bright dining area with a table and chairs, plus large windows overlooking the pool which flood this room with natural light. From here you can access a seating room - another great place to chill out - which also has access to the pool area. The contemporary and well-equipped kitchen has a separate exit out to the rear of the villa. On the first floor, there is a second lounge with sea views and a separate small dining area, plus a convenient small kitchen. This is great for families or couples travelling together who want a degree of independence. Bedrooms and bathrooms On the ground floor, there is a large double bedroom with an en suite bathroom and 2 twin bedrooms which share a separate bathroom with double sinks. On the first floor, you will find a double bedroom with a private terrace, which has a seating area. There is a twin bedroom and separate bathroom on this floor too. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated. Games room Between the ground floor lounge and dining room, you will find a set of steps going down into a large games room which is located under the outside pool terrace. It has an unusual window feature, goldfish bowl effect looking into the pool from underwater. The Neighborhood: Mijas is perfectly positioned to visit Fuengirola, one of the most popular beach resorts on the coast. Children will especially enjoy a day at the aqua park. Matchroom Country Club is under a 30-minute drive from Malaga Airport. Marbella and Torremolinos are located a short drive away. Getting Around: From Malaga airport, you can take a train to Fuengirola (main railway station) and from there approximately 7 minutes by taxi. The cost would be approximately €10 euro. Within Mijas, you can reach everything by foot. Other Things to Note: Important: the booking platform will provide you with a general location of the area where our villa is located. When booking with us you agree to follow our check-in and check-out times. 3. Our guest will be provided with our Guest Application. All information will be visible in the application. As a guest we expect you to review all information accordingly. 4. When checking out later than the agreed check-out time, we reserve the right to keep your security deposit. 5. Our check-in and check-out times are subject to availability. The check-in time starts at 17.00h and ends at 20.00h. If you wish to check-in later, please request a late personal check-in. Additional fee of €25,00 is applicable. 6.You can use our services during your stay. We can arrange extra towels or a cleaning service. 7.
