Welcome to train station Liglet! This former train station from 1888 has been lovingly renovated over the last few years and transformed into a house. In addition, 2 years ago a large swimming pool of 16x4 m was built to make your stay even more enjoyable. The house still features several characteristics reminding of how it used to be. The house is also equipped with all modern conveniences. (Including WiFi - Amazon Echo) There are 3 bedrooms for 6 adults and there also is a bedroom for up to 3 children. Theres one large bathroom and a spacious kitchen - dining room - living room - basement and office. Around the house there are two terraces, one of which on the former platform! The swimming pool is about 50 metres from the house. There also is plenty to do for the children; theres a tree house with a zip line. Youll also find a table tennis table, badminton and all kinds of parlour games. The old railway tracks have been removed, but now and then a hiker or cyclist comes along over the old tracks, which are still property of the SNCF In the area, we recommend a visit to Oradour sur Glane (1 h) or Futuroscope (1.15 h). The old station is still regularly used by the owners. Therefore, there are always plenty of groceries available like olive oil, vinegar, pasta, sugar, etc. Guests may use these freely but are requested to supplement used groceries for the next guests. The house is heated with wood, with a few electric heaters to supplement. Please note that the house can be quite cold in the middle of the winter.
