If you also like to taste wines the vineyards of Sancerre -Pouilly and Chablis are less than 50 km away from our house and best is to visit the local tourist center who will help and guide you. Try also to to visit Vezelay -a Unesco site in the nearby Morvan natural park.Auxerre has many nice restaurants and cafés and historic places such as the roman Saint Germain presbitary ( 9th century!) a great Merovinger cultural center including one of the oldest wall paintings in France .
