When you enter Villa Markuss you will quickly appreciate the care that has been taken to make this a wonderful holiday home. It is extremely spacious, with great attention to the decor, fittings and furniture. It is both modern and traditionally Mallorcan. With five very large bedrooms, it sleeps ten guests and is ideal for large family or friends groups. This fabulous villa is situated in the green belt area of Crestatx, a quaint and unspoilt village, just 10 minutes from Pollensa and Alcudia. It takes just 5 minutes to get on the fast island roads that link the four corners of the stunning island of Mallorca. Set on a pretty tree-lined street, you enter the property through large gates, and then you are really secluded and can relax. The plot is huge at 1560 sqm, and it is so attractive with mature planting, grassy areas and a superb, enormous pool. You will very quickly wind down and relax in this special place. There are many sun loungers surrounding the pool and a lovely covered terrace with cozy outdoor furniture. The villa feels so warm and comfortable with wooden beams, floors, windows and doors in most rooms. It is extremely well maintained and beautiful but not so precious that you would worry about children playing. The art collection is amazing. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is fantastic with an atmospheric sloping, beamed ceiling, very modern kitchen and a few steps up to the very comfortable lounge area. With so many doors and windows, it is lovely and bright. A wide arch opens to the impressive hallway, again making the villa feel so open and spacious. The dining area leads to a long balcony with an outside dining area. The balcony continues around the villa to overlook the wonderful pool and garden. With the plot sloping you enter the villa to the hall and living area but at the back of the villa, this is actually the first floor. The exquisite bedrooms are so tastefully furnished with huge beds and really interesting furniture, an eclectic mix of modern and traditional. With the lovely warm colours chosen, it works so well and warms your heart. Three of the bedrooms have kingsize beds and the other, twins. The impeccable master bedroom offers direct access to the balcony overlooking the garden and boasts a massive, beautiful en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower as well as a glass-sided jacuzzi corner bath. The twin is also on the top floor, and the remaining three kings are below, all with direct access to the pool and garden. They are equally beautiful, and three splendid bathrooms with a mix of baths and showers serve them. This is such a relaxing haven, guests may not really want to leave the villa much, but of course, there is so much countryside, and fabulous beaches and attractions close by. #### Features The Villa This spectacular residence was built using only the very best quality materials and accommodates up to ten guests. Palma, the capital, is a gorgeous city and definitely worth a visit. The stunning cathedral has amazing views from the roof terrace and is extremely beautiful. Whether you are in the cobbled streets of the atmospheric old town, or in the heart of the grand plazas, impressive monuments, museums, galleries or churches of Gothic splendour, you will appreciate the beauty and majesty of Palma. The halls of seafood, fruit and vegetables at Olivar Market are a sight to see. The Caves of Drach at Porto Cristo are incredible with an underground lake. It is so magical, and you will definitely need to get your cameras ready! The short boat trip is so much fun after hearing a classical concert performed by a quartet on a boat. The sea could not get any bluer than at the spectacular Formentor and Puerto Pollensa beaches. They really are breathtaking, and many watersports and boat trips can be taken. Pollensa has done a really good job of mixing beautiful architecture with cosmopolitan and traditional tourist interests. You will see modern art galleries mingling with chic restaurants and Roman and Medieval ruins. The 365 Calvari Steps lead from the Placa Major to the top of the town where you can enjoy the awesome views and visit the lovely little church. Like Pollensa, Alcudias Medieval Old Town is so atmospheric with charming cobbled streets, ancient ruins, a fabulous open-air market and wonderful restaurants and bars You do not need to know your way around a saddle to enjoy a day of horse riding at Rancho Grande. It is the ultimate way to take in Mallorcas rural beauty. You can join horse-riding excursions in the forest and also on the beach. Valldemossa is situated in an idyllic valley in the midst of the dramatic Tramuntana Mountains and is a slice of Mediterranean paradise. This lovely village is steeped in old-world charm. Its ancient, blonde, stone houses contrast vividly with the surrounding lush green forests of olive, almond and oak trees and the blue sky above. The picturesque streets are littered with shops, art galleries, cafes and restaurants. Doorways are sprinkled with pretty plants and flowers. It is so stunning to visit and is the doorway to many trails through the wooded hillsides.
