Its nigh on impossible to come across a travel section without someone trumpeting Montenegro as the new it destination. And though the country is rightfully revelling in the spotlight, the people remain as theyve always been: candid, convivial and charming. Unlike in many other emerging destinations, hassling and scamming visitors isnt big on Montenegrins agenda; for the most part, youre more likely to encounter a spontaneous bear hug than a bothersome tout. The location is perfect starting point to visit all highlights around Montenegro. For example you can reach further most national park Prokletije in 3 hours and be back on the same day to relax in the evening and plan your next day. There are hiking trails all around. One of them even starts from the door step and takes you to top of the hill with little church for rewarding views over the bay. Or, in less busy months such as May, June, Sept and Oct you can cycle along the coast line admiring the glass like water with image of reflecting mountains. Kotor town is 12 km away, the road for cyclists is one of the most picturesque in Montenegro. There are art and yoga classes for those looking for more relaxing holidays.
