The Studio on McLeod is a self-catering loft apartment at our home in Stuart’s Hill, located in the picturesque town of Somerset West, a 20 minute drive East from CapeTown International Airport. We are perfectly situated within the Helderberg Wine Route from which to explore a multitude of attractions, adventures & activities on offer in this exquisite slice of paradise. Our Cape Winelands, with its Mediterranean-type climate, has some of the most breathtakingly beautiful scenery in the world! Our delightful loft studio apartment is ideally situated in Stuarts Hill, Somerset West, affording guests the perfect base from which to explore the Helderberg Basin (a collective name of neighbouring towns, namely Somerset West, The Strand and Gordons Bay). Our beautiful area is nestled near the foot of the Helderberg Mountain and offers a host of outdoor attractions. Within a 5-minute drive, nature enthusiasts can experience a hike up the Helderberg Mountain or sit back and enjoy delicious treats at the Oak Cafe located at the foot of the mountain, or relax with a picnic on the sprawling lawn of the Helderberg Nature Reserve. A 15-minute drive will get you to our golden, sand-covered beaches or a visit to the Cheetah Outreach preservation centre. There are no less than 6 golf courses within a short drive, the closest being a 7-minute drive to the Erinvale Golf Estate Hotel and Spa. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, craft market, curio shops, art galleries, and more are within short walking distance from the Studio on McLeod. Guests have sole access to the Studio apartment with private balcony and are also welcome to relax in our garden. There is secure off-street parking. Guests are free to come and go as they please.
