This cosy villa is placed within spacious gardens in the Binibeca Bay complex, just moments from the glittering Balearic sea. One of the best features of this villa is the bubbling jacuzzi on the sundeck, where you can enjoy a glass of complimentary champagne and admire the lush canopy of trees and plants beyond the villa. Next to the lush lawn, the narrow turquoise pool is long enough for swimming up and down, perfect for a relaxing dip in the sunshine. There is a convenient outdoor shower in this area. Afterwards, relax on a sun lounger or on the cosy corner sofa on the porch. Its a great spot to curl up with a book. A traditional stone wall runs along one side, and there is a pebbled courtyard where the alfresco dining table is located, nestled within pink and white flowering bushes. The house has an interesting layout, made from a whitewashed grid-like structure, with black-framed floor to ceiling windows. There are five bedrooms in total, with the master bedroom upstairs and the other four double bedrooms are on the lower floor. The bedrooms are decorated in a simple yet sophisticated style. Patterned headboards of watercolour trees, floral print and colourful valances add a splash of colour. On the beds, you will find 300-thread count Egyptian linen, designed to facilitate a great nights sleep after a long day exploring Menorca. Some rooms have teal or purple armchairs, while others have excellent views over the nearby nature reserve. Two of the bedrooms share a bathroom, and the others have ensuites. Decked out in luxurious coffee or grey marble, some have a bathtub, while others have glass-encased showers. The open-plan living space is decorated in tonal grey with plenty of texture, acting as a blank canvas for the colours to pop against. A pair of armchairs, rust-coloured and patterned in an Aztec style, provide a cosy spot to relax and watch a film on the flat-screen TV. A marbled rug adds a cosy touch. Just behind the statement staircase is the sleek dining table, with patterned chairs. The petite yet functional kitchen is decorated in unusual apple green, with enough space on the glossy kitchen island to whip up a home-cooked family feast. #### Features The Villa Designed to be an oasis of calm in which to relax with family and friends, Binibeca Deluxe is decorated in a chic, unfussy style, with vintage-style furniture and glossy marble floors. There are 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, and it can accommodate up to 8 people Ground Floor - Spacious living room of 90 square meters, dining and lounge area with TV, air conditioning - Large kitchen very well equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, blender, toaster and American fridge - Laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. It is moments from the Balearic Sea and is within Binibeca Vell, a fishing village that was restored carefully in 1972 thanks to its popularity with holidaymakers. With winding streets, traditional limestone houses and a backdrop of forestry and soaring sand dunes, Binibeca oozes charm and character. The area overlooks an uninhabited island called Illa de lAire with its own 19th-century lighthouse. Menorca as a whole enjoys a more leisurely feel and a slower pace than some of the other Balearic Islands. At the same time, theres plenty to see and do, as well as 99 beaches. There are several water parks, a lovely harbour and many opportunities to observe local wildlife. Binibeca beach is a white-sand bay that gently slopes into warm turquoise water, surrounded by volcanic cliffs. Those interested in diving will be pleased to know there is a great diving school where you can explore an underwater shipwreck. Snorkelling and kayaking are also popular activities to get stuck into at Binibeca beach, as you can spot exotic fish and sea life. In the same area, there are also four other smaller coves - Binisafuller, Biniancolla, Biniparratx and Binidali which are beautiful, peaceful spots to visit. However, you could easily visit a different beach every day if you like - the islands most beautiful secret beach is probably Cala Escorxada, accessed by a one hour hike from Santo Tomas. Follow the coastal route to be rewarded with a tranquil beach with crystalline water. For a thrilling experience that showcases the best of Menorcas wildlife, check out Jeep Safari Menorca. Local guides take groups of passengers in 4x4s around the backroads of the island, spotting exotic flora and fauna. Its a superb way to learn more about local life and the animals of the island. Menorca was made a Biosphere resort in 1993, which protects its natural beauty. Admirably, the locals take exceptional care of their island and its biodiversity. Mahon, the islands capital with its own harbour is just a 20 minutes drive from the villa. A charming 2km-long stretch lined with cafes, art galleries and boutiques. Menorca is famous for shoemaking - try to pick up some locally-made avarcas sandals. Descend the steps of the harbour to spot luxury yachts and take a tour of the famous gin distillery, where you can sample some interesting flavours of the local Xoriguer gin. In the restaurants, you can try Menorquin delicacies like lobster stew, baked squid or octopus and sobrassada - paprika-spiced sausages.
