There are 10 beaches within walking distance of the villa. Praia das Fontainhas is perhaps the most photogenic of these beaches. The supermarket and various restaurants are also within walking distance. The village of Alporchinhos is excellent for families with children and is located between Carvoeiro, Porches and Armacao de Pera. The villa was completely renovated in 2021 while retaining some very nice details, such as the inside of the domes. The furniture is also composed with respect for the building, so that it matches the atmosphere and character of the villa.
