Originally built in the late 1960s, the bungalow has been extensively renovated and modernized in 2017 to provide a home from home which gives a feeling of space and equally one of warmth and coziness. The bungalow is centrally heated (there are no additional charges for electricity, gas and water). A galley kitchen and the living/dining room both lead off from the entrance hallway. The bathroom has a standard bath with an electric shower, washbasin and W.C. There are two bedrooms, a double and a single, and a fourth person can be accommodated on a folding bed which is suitable for a smaller adult or a child, and which can be used either in the single bedroom or the living/dining room. The double bedroom has French windows leading onto the rear patio and lawn. Outside, the bungalow has its own driveway, affording off-road parking, alongside a small lawn to the front of the property, while to the rear is a larger, more secluded garden which comprises a 20ft. x 8ft. patio leading by way of 5 steps up to a 32ft. x 23ft. lawn, all complete with garden seating. Lansdowne Park is a quiet residential road which is just a 10 minute walk from the town centre, but if walking, or driving, into the town does not appeal there is an hourly local bus service which can be boarded immediately outside of the property on weekdays. Totnes is a small, attractive town with a wealth of history behind it, together with a unique character and feel, much of which can be attributed to the influence of the students of the nearby Dartington College of Arts of the more recent past. It is also well known for its unique independent shops and also has plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs to choose from. As well as its own features and attractions, Totnes lies at the heart of South Devon with the beautiful rolling hills and stunning coastline of the South Hams to the south, and the wonderful rugged scenery of Dartmoor to the north. Also the popular seaside resorts of Paignton and Torquay are only 7 - 10 miles away. All of this superb countryside is within 30 - 40 minutes drive. For those using public transport the town is well served by buses allowing access to the aforementioned areas as well as the major centres of Plymouth and Exeter. The main rail link to the South-west, routing through Exeter. Plymouth and then on into Cornwall, also serves the town.
