Can Xenet has undergone a tasteful renovation transforming it into a fabulous villa with all the mod cons you expect, but still retaining that old-world charm. Look out from your delightful holiday villa and survey all before you no less than 25 acres of private land that is yours for the duration. Lush fields adorned with fig and almond trees, nearby forests and arable pastures dotted with palm trees, the beautiful Tramuntana mountains in the distance, and the Bay of Pollensa just 15 minutes away. Anyone with a creative outlook on life or who appreciates the arts will love Can Xenet. Charming, romantic, inspiring are the sort of adjectives that describe the place. The farmhouse itself is decorated in authentic Mallorcan rustic style, all exposed wooden beams, traditional stone walls, tiled floors, and genuine antique furniture. Stunning genuine Elizabethan antique furniture fills the house and there are flowers everywhere. You’ll find a number of paintings on the wall (Can Xenet is a popular holiday destination for groups of artists) and the traditional stone fireplace with open fire is very impressive indeed. There’s such a cosy feel to the living area that its tempting just to put your feet up with a good book and relax. However, its not just about old-world charm, Can Xenet has satellite TV, DVD player, WiFi air conditioning, and central heating. If you fancy a sing-song, there’s even a piano! On entering Can Xenet you can’t miss the two huge antique doors that open onto a sun-baked front terrace and shady cobbled courtyard. The main living area features a gorgeous drawing-room, a lovely dining room with a long table seating up to 16 guests, and a fully fitted rustic style kitchen with a large gas stove, three fridges, two dishwashers, and a microwave. (Larger groups can choose to dine in the enormous barn featuring a traditional barbecue for an authentic Spanish culinary experience.) There are a total of thirteen air-conditioned beautiful bedrooms, many of them being en suite. Flexibility is the order of the day here as many can be used as doubles or twins as required. On the ground floor, there are 6 bedrooms overlooking the lawn, There are 4 singles, 1 has twin beds and 1 has a double bed. All have bathrooms with showers. There is also a self-contained annex with a twin bedroom and bathroom in the courtyard. Upstairs in the main house, there are 6 further bedrooms, 2 bedrooms are en-suite, one is a full bathroom and the other is a shower room. The other 4 bedrooms share a shower room and a bathroom with a bath. Outside Can Xenet is just as beautiful. The gorgeous saltwater swimming pool has a stepped entrance and is perfect for cooling off on a hot day. It is surrounded by sun-baked walls draped with beautiful bougainvillea, and sun loungers and parasols are provided inviting you to enjoy a cocktail or two poolside. There’s a delightful vine-covered terrace and even a hammock in the garden if you’re feeling a little decadent! If you’re feeling active, however, you can take advantage of the all-weather tennis court or go hiking in the nearby hills. Additional people up to 16 to 22 people in total can be accommodated.
