Brook Villa is a semi-detached Georgian villa situated 4 miles from Whitby in the village of Sleights. This spacious house sleeps 6 people across 4 bedrooms and is perfect for group get togethers or family gatherings. With wooden beams throughout, stone floors and a log burner Brook Villa is the perfect home from home by the coast. The Space: The property has the traditional black and white Georgian frontage and balcony with steps leading up to the front door. Once inside the house you have a bright and airy living area with plenty of seating for everyone to relax beside the crackling log burner, perfect for evenings in front of the television after exploring the local area. The well-equipped kitchen includes everything you would need to cook up a delicious meal for the family which you can then enjoy in the separate dining room. You will find a utility room just of the kitchen which has a washer and additional storage, useful for those longer stays. Lastly on the lower level you will find a shower room with shower, toilet and basin. Take the stairs to the upper level where you will find two comfortable double bedrooms and two simplistic single rooms. With pale coloured walls and crisp white linen you get a real sense of calm inside Brook Villa. With beautiful views from each window you can enjoy the beauty of Yorkshire from the comfort of this spotlessly clean house. To the rear of the property there is an enclosed patio area with outdoor furniture and a large BBQ. Ideal for al fresco dining and enjoying the summer sun. Guest Access: Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. There is free parking for one vehicle on the driveway of Brook Villa and additional free parking can be found on the street outside the property. Interaction with Guests: We’re always available for our guests so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. The Neighborhood: The village of Sleights is located conveniently between Whitby and the North York Moors National Park. The village has everything you could need within walking distance. The butchers and delicatessen sell fresh meats, pies and other deli treats. Bothams bakery can provide you with freshly baked bread, a local store which houses the post office, the Salmon Leap pub for traditional ales and freshly cooked meals, play parks for the children and of course, the Village fish & chip shop. You will find all you would need for a Yorkshire break here and with the train line taking you to Whitby, Danby, Egton, Pickering and beyond you are perfectly placed to explore a truly beautiful part of the UK. Getting Around: Sleights is just a short car journey or bus ride from Whitby which has plenty of bus and train routes for you to explore the Yorkshire coastline, moors and beyond. Explore the cobbled streets of Staithes, take a walk on the beach at Sandsend or Runswick Bay and discover quaint villages such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
