In this village lived only four families with the last name Kamilakis and one of them was my predecessors about 800 years ago, that is almost 10 generations to this day. Kamilakis fought against the Venetians and the Turks conquers for their lands was the reason they called “Turkofagous”. The ground floor of the villa is completely renovated and combines the monument with traditional elements of architecture that predestined the Venetian period.
