Our Penthouse is the absolute crowning glory of number 39, with its high vaulted ceilings and exquisitely decorated rooms, this apartment must be seen to be believed. Ideal for large groups and families looking to explore central London, the property caters for up to 10 guests. The Space: Situated across three floors the Penthouse boasts a rooftop balcony with unbeatable views overlooking the British Museum, as well as an outdoor patio accessed from the kitchen, providing the perfect space for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun. The three large bedrooms are located on the second floor of the apartment. The two larger bedrooms have their own en-suites each with a shower/bathtub. There is also a shared bathroom with shower on the landing for the third bedroom. The main living area is situated on the third floor, where you will find the fully equipped kitchen with American-style fridge/freezer, as well as an induction hob, dishwasher, and clothes washer/dryer. The living room has a large corner sofa which has its own double sofa bed. There is a smart TV and speaker system also installed. On the fourth floor there is a glass mezzanine/study area which can also form a fourth bedroom using the double sofa bed. The mezzanine area provides access to the panoramic 360 rooftop with overlooking views of the British Museum and surrounding central London. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entirety of the apartment. Interaction with Guests: Once your booking has been confirmed we will arrange a check-in time at the property with a member of staff, who will give you the keys and show you around the property, explain how the internet, heating etc. works as well as give you any recommendations you may need. We will be on hand during your stay to make your stay more enjoyable however we will also give you privacy. The Neighborhood: Bloomsbury is one of the last remaining quintessentially British neighbourhoods in London and is centred around The British Museum, one of the most iconic museums in the world which is literally on our doorstep. Bloomsbury is also the literary centre of London, JK Rowling’s publisher is just around the corner. There are also various lovely parks/squares a short walk away, such as Russell Square and Bloomsbury Square which are great to have a walk and enjoy the surrounding architecture in tranquillity. For those who enjoy shopping, eating out or nightlife the apartment is a ten-minute walk to Oxford Street, London’s renowned shopping district and Soho, where you can find great restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Getting Around: Tottenham Court Road Tube, Holborn Tube, The new Cross Rail, Cabs, Kings cross train station along with the good old 2 legs are all surrounding the property. The property is located on Great Russell Street. The closest tube station is Tottenham Court Road located just a 5-minute walk away. If arriving by train into Euston, Kings Cross or Waterloo station this can be accessed by taking the Northern line on the London Underground System. If you are arrivng from Paddington Station use the Bakerloo line Southbound to Oxford Circus, before changing onto the Central line Eastbound to Tottenham Court Road.
