A beautifully furnished very comfortable, gracious first floor apartment overlooking Green Park, part of a terrace built c.1795. Jane Austen lived from 1804-5 in the terrace opposite. We love staying here, a haven above the park with a view through the trees, and yet the centre of Bath is just minutes away. Flooded with light on bright days it is a cosy refuge on dull days and in the evenings; relax, read, cook or just sit and gaze from the windows at Bath passing by below. THE APARTMENT ALSO INCLUDES FREE PARKING. The Space: The apartment comprises a hall with coat cupboard, large sitting room, bedroom with king size bed (that can be separated from the living room by closing the double doors), a shower room, and a fully equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs. The space is beautifully furnished for a relaxing and sumptuous stay. Guest Access: There is a shared front door to the building into the hall from where you take one flight of stairs to the private front door of the apartment. Interaction with Guests: We are available for the guest to contact us, meet and greet is arranged through Mary, whose telephone number will be provided upon booking. The Neighborhood: In the heart of Bath, just a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants, markets, museums and the Theatre Royal. Green Park Station around the corner hosts a Saturday morning Farmers Market which is well worth a visit. Getting Around: Easy walking distance to countless delights including The Roman Baths, The Thermae Bath Spa, The Jane Austen Centre, The Assembly Rooms, The Royal Crescent, The Circus, The Pump Rooms, Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge and The Holborne Museum. Other Things to Note: Teas, coffee, and other essentials are available on your arrival. Bath has many wonderful independent food shops, but for your immediate convenience, Sainsburys superstore, open 7am-10pm on weekdays and 11am-5pm on Sundays, with a 24 hour cash machine, is less than 5 minutes walk around the corner through Green Park Station. House Rules: For stays of longer than 7 nights, there will be an additional weekly clean and linen change charge of £50. For stays of 14 nights or more the cleaning/linen charge can be discussed and negotiated. Check in 3pm-6pm, check out by 11am. When you leave, please lock the apartment door behind you and put the keys in the keysafe next to the door. Pull the front door firmly closed when you leave the building.
