Situated on a quiet street above a traditional London Tailors, this 3-bedroom duplex flat is a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of London. The apartment has fast wifi and is renovated to a modern standard with a lot of the period features of this Victorian building restored. Fitzrovia is an ideal place for travellers on business or tourists looking to explore all London has to offer. It is ideally located close to Goodge Street tube station, granting you access to the whole London underground network. The popular areas of and Soho and Oxford Street are just a short walk away. The Space: This contemporary duplex occupies the second and third floors of this restored Victorian terraced building with a communal front door entrance. As you walk through the door you will be welcomed by an inviting open-plan living room and kitchen. The living area has a corner sofa, which doubles as a very comfortable bed with a clever coffee table in front that transforms to provide dining table for 8. Plenty of light floods this room and it makes for a useful conference room for business meetings or just family get togethers. The corner kitchen has solid granite surfaces with intelligently designed units and comes fully equipped, suitable for cooking large meals. There is a smart TV mounted on the wall. On the same floor there is a double bedroom, that has a large sash window looking south away from the road with a view over the backs of the surrounding houses. The bedroom is equipped with a comfortable double bed and ample storage for clothes. The bedroom also features a flat screen TV. Up one floor, we have the double master bedroom with views north over quiet Windmill street and plenty of morning light and more storage. This room benefits from a large and quiet reading corner and again a wall-mounted TV. The third bedroom is above the first, so has same views and similar set-up, but also has an office space with a desk for working at with nice views south east. TV also included, and ample storage again. On this floor there is a WC, as well as the second bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. As you can see from the photos the large sash windows flood the apartment and each of its rooms with plenty of natural light. The apartment has comfortable, soft carpets throughout and has been decorated to a modern standard, with neutral light colours creating a bright and homely environment. Guest Access: Guests will have sole access to the entirety of the property. Interaction with Guests: Once your booking has been confirmed we will arrange a check-in time at the property with a member of staff, who will give you the keys and show you around the property, explain how the internet, heating etc. works as well as give you any recommendations you may need. We will be on hand during your stay to make your stay more enjoyable however we will also give you privacy. The Neighborhood: Wedged between Bloomsbury, Soho, Covent Garden and Marylebone, Fitzrovia is a haven for foodies, art lovers and shoppers alike. Youll be rubbing shoulders with stylish local architects, gallerists and other artsy animals every evening from 6pm onwards, either sipping a cocktail in a glamorous bar or having a pint in one of the many historic and characterful local pubs. The weekends are a bit quieter when the local workers disperse, which is a good time to stroll up to Regents Park, marvel the glories of the British Museum or head to the shops on Oxford Street.
