The resort of Mil Palmeras is situated on the southern tip of the Costa Blanca, just off the AP7 motorway and has one of the warmest climates in Spain enjoying around 300 days of sunshine every year. Its very popular with spanish holidaymakers but remains a bit of a hidden gem to other nationalities looking for somewhere different and not too commercialised. Mil Palmeras has one of the best beaches in the region, an array of bars, cafes and restaurants on the main strip offering a good variety of international cuisine including an eat as much as you like Wok Buffet which is very popular. There is a weekly market every sunday which is ideal for cheap, fresh local produce and a nightly artesan market on the promenade during the summer.
