Nestled in the beautiful village of Beadnell on the Northumberland coastline, The Bach is a recently refurbished property with style in abundance. Aptly named, a ‘Bach’ is a cosy and modest holiday home. Pronounced ‘batch’, it was thought to be originally short for bachelor pad but actually often tended to be a family holiday home. Sleeping up to 4 guests, this bach is dog friendly and perfect for family staycations, romantic retreats and getaways with friends. The Space: Upon entering The Bach, you’ll be impressed with its bright and modern look. Recently renovated to the highest standard, the house boasts premium furniture and luxury interiors. Perfect for socialising, the ground floor has an open plan kitchen, living and dining room. After a fun day at the beach, retreat to the living area with your loved ones for a cosy night in. Snuggle up on the sofa and turn on the flat screen TV to keep up with your favourite shows. Beautifully styled, the living area has a grey and mustard colour scheme with touches of tartan soft furnishings. The kitchen is ultra stylish with dark blue cabinets and marble worktops. Perfectly on trend, it also has white brick style tiles which complement the space beautifully. You’ll have everything you need for your self-catering stay as The Bach is fully equipped with an oven, hob, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. There are also the added luxuries of a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. The dining area includes a modern white dining table with four dining chairs. Ideal for family meals and dining with friends, there is ample space for all of your party. Head upstairs to the first floor and you’ll find two bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master bedroom boasts a king size bed with a comfy mattress and plush bedding. With crisp white walls and spotlights, this space is tranquil and modern. Pops of colour and luxury are added through teal coloured soft furnishings and beautiful wall prints. Along the hallway is the second bedroom. Boasting the same high finish as the rest of the house, the room has comfortable twin beds with mustard blankets and cushions. A truly cosy space to relax, you’ll enjoy your sleep at The Bach. Unique in style, the family bathroom has white tiled walls and a striking patterned, tiled floor. The space boasts a bath with an overhead shower, a vanity unit and a WC. Outside you’ll find a fully enclosed garden with outdoor furniture. Ideal for al fresco dining and drinks in the sunshine, this is an added bonus with the property. Right on the water, you’ll have lovely views with the sound of the river passing by. Guest Access: Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. There is one designated parking space for The Bach in the carpark as well as free on street parking. The Bach is dog friendly and we welcome up to two small dogs or one large dog. We kindly ask that dogs are kept off the furniture and downstairs. Interaction with Guests: We’re always available for our guests so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. The Neighborhood: The Bach is located in Beadnell - a charming village right on the Northumberland coast. Ideal for seaside stays, the village is set at the end of a stunning stretch of sandy shores. At the North end of the bay is the harbour and to the South you’ll find huge sand dunes which go on for miles. Gather all of the family together to enjoy the renowned watersports on offer. From surfing and sailing to scuba diving and bodyboarding, you won’t get bored of things to do at Beadnell Bay! If you want to get active during your stay, Beadnell is also ideal for walking as it boasts great routes along the coastline with unrivalled views. You can also relax at one of the many restaurants on offer. Just a short 5 minute walk from The Bach is the Craster Arms where you can enjoy a drink and food within a building which dates back to the 15th century. Beadnell is just 4 miles from Bamburgh so you can easily explore other areas within Northumberland during your stay. Here you can head to England’s most northerly land-based lighthouse where there are incredible views of the Holy Island. You can also visit Bamburgh Castle, a striking Grade I listed building which has stood on the Northumberland coastline for over 1,400 years. Known as one of the finest castles in the country, there is a wealth of history to uncover during your visit. Getting Around: The Bach is within walking distance of all that Beadnell has to offer. If you plan on visiting other towns and villages during your stay, hop on the Arriva X18 route which travels to Newcastle with stops in Amble and Alnwick amongst others.
