Fully equipped for all self-catering getaways, it has a kettle, toaster, microwave, oven and fridge. All dishes and silverware are also provided so you can enjoy home cooked meals during your stay. The dining area includes a breakfast style bar with tall bar stools. Also sharing this space is the living area. With a dark coloured feature wall, comfy corner sofa and 50” Smart TV, this is the perfect cosy spot to relax. Stylishly accessorised, a floor lamp, nest of tables and three canvas wall arts complete the look. Head upstairs to the first floor and you’ll find the bedroom and bathroom. Beautifully presented, the bedroom has a boutique hotel look. With a comfy King size bed, plush bedding and premium linens, you’ll enjoy your sleep at Carriage House. The space is completed with a floral wallpapered feature wall, floor length mirror and walk-in style wardrobe. Next door to the bedroom is the bathroom. Super modern and clean in style, it features slate style tiles, a free standing bath, large walk in shower, WC and basin. Guest Access: Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. The Neighborhood: The Carriage House is located in the historic market town of Morpeth. Exploring the cobbled streets, you’ll discover independent shops, cosy pubs and highstreet favourites. If you’re looking for a full shopping experience, head to Sanderson Arcade and you’ll find an array of stores as well as cafes, beauty bars and markets. When you want to get your hands on the best local produce, Morpeth’s popular Farmers Market takes place every first Saturday of the month in the marketplace. When you’re looking to unwind, take a woodland walk in the colourful Carlisle Park. With tennis courts, river boats and bowls as well as gorgeous scenery, the park has plenty to offer. We’d recommend checking out Turner Garden which celebrates the life of William Turner who was born in Morpeth. Getting Around: Morpeth is easily accessed from the A1 and is a short 25 minute drive to the centre of Newcastle. Perfectly placed, you can reach lots of Northumberland towns and villages easily. Alnmouth, Alnwick and Amble are just a 30-minute drive away and you can reach the coastal areas of Seahouses and Holy Island of Lindisfarne within one hour. Morpeth train station is roughly a 10-minute walk from the house with routes to Edinburgh, Newcastle and Carlisle. There are also plenty of bus routes throughout the town. Hop on the Arriva X15 route which travels through to Newcastle with stops in Belford and Alnwick.
