Super cosy and welcoming, there is an exposed brick fireplace and flat screen TV so it will certainly feel like your home from home. With a mustard, chaise lounge style corner sofa and a green armchair, this is the perfect spot to retreat to on an evening. Towards the back of the room is the dining area which includes a round wooden table and two dining chairs. Aptly named The Jungle Nook, you’ll notice quirky animal ornaments featured throughout the room. Elegant and sophisticated, the kitchen has light coloured cabinets, dark worktops and luxurious gold hardware. Fully equipped for all self-catering stays, the apartment has a washer / dryer, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and microwave. Outside you’ll find a cosy patio. With outdoor plants and brightly coloured seating, this area has been carefully designed to maximise the space. Warm and snug, the bedroom has a dark feature wall with cladding and built in shelves. The comfy double bed boasts plush bedding and linens as well as luxury soft furnishings. A floor length mirror, a mustard blind and gold decorations complete the look. The bathroom has the same bold look as the rest of the apartment. There is a spacious walk in shower, WC, basin and dark grey vanity unit. Contrasting perfectly with the light grey cladding and white walls, there are pops of bright pink added to create a seriously cool look. Guest Access: Guests have access to the full apartment. Berwick-upon-Tweed has lots of events and festivities on offer too. There are annual festivals for film, music, food and drinks as well as entertainment throughout the year at the theatre and cinema. You’ll have your pick of restaurants, cafes and pubs as the town has an array of great places to choose from. There will be plenty of history for you to uncover as you can visit Berwick Barracks, The Main Guard and the town’s old courtroom. The town also has a number of inspiring art galleries on offer including The Granary Gallery, Berwick Museum and Art Gallery and Dockside Gallery. Getting Around: Berwick-upon-Tweed is within 45 minutes’ drive time of other popular Northumberland destinations such as Alnwick, Alnmouth, Seahouses and Bamburgh so it’s perfectly located for exploring. Berwick-upon-Tweed train station is a short 10-minute walk from The Jungle Nook with regular services to Newcastle and Edinburgh as well as London Kings Cross. There are also a number of bus routes through the town. Hop on the X15 Arriva bus which travels to Newcastle and has stops in Belford, Alnwick and Morpeth. If you’d like to visit Craster, Seahouses, Bamburgh, Amble or Alnmouth, the X18 Arriva bus will take you there.
