Minori is an attractive and uncrowded seaside town at the center of the Amalfi Coast. It retains its identity as a laid-back fishing village and remains a gem of the Amalfi Coast. It may just be the ideal destination for those wanting a sunny, relaxed holiday with lots of sun, sea, good food and wine - quiet and unpretentious, it is easily reachable by public buses or boats from each town of the Amalfi Coast. The spacious and tastefully furnished apartment named Verso il sentiero… is situated in a quiet location , in the upper part of the village of Minori, along the Sentiero dei limoni ( or Path of Lemons). This is an easy walk, suitable for everyone, whose name clearly refers to the lush terraced gardens , cultivated with lemons, the most iconic symbol of the Amalfi Coast . This path , clinging along the ridges of the hill, connects Minori to nearby Maiori , passing through the picturesque hamlet of Torre , a bunch of houses with the parish church of San Michele Arcangelo, dating back to the 10th century. A particularly scenic place of the hamlet is "Belvedere la mortella" (dialect word referring to the myrtle plant) , situated at only few minutes walk from the apartment. The view when you get to the belvedere is breathtaking - a full panorama of Minori with the imposing Basilica di Santa Trofimena and its bell tower, the beach, the mountains of Scala and Ravello and in the distance, Atrani and Amalfi. Verso il sentiero….. is situated few minutes walks from the town centre of Minori. You will reach it going up a public walkway that includes approximately 180 steps. If, for whatever reason, you cant handle the steps to get to the villa, you may want to opt for a place in the centre of the town. However, if you can do the steps, dont pass up this beautiful, relaxing getaway that will make your vacation. The interiors are extremely bright and airy , the rooms are furnished with a warm and welcoming mixture of traditional and modern furniture and fittings all to an excellent criteria to offer comfortable holiday accommodation. Also, the attention to all details gives a touch of romance to the apartment. It features a balcony and a large roof terrace overlooking the entire town of Minori but also Ravello, the mountains of Scala and Agerola and a side view of the sea. The roof terrace is equipped with a small sofa , two armchairs a table and sun chairs. Here you will also find an outdoor shower You do not need a car while staying in Minori, If you do have one, you have to park it, for a fee, in a private parking lot ( private parking must be reserved ahead of time) . Accommodation (approx. 80sq. m. indoor and 25 sq.m of terraces ): The accommodation is suitable for 3 people and is made of a cosy sitting room , a spacious double bedroom and a living/sitting room. The kitchen features a table seating 4 people, a full size fridge with freezer, an electric oven, 4 burners-cooker, a microwave, all modern appliances and an air conditioning/heating unit . Amalfi(5 km) , Ravello (9 km), Sorrento ( 35 km) , Salerno ( 22 km) Positano ( 22 km) , Ferries ply daily from Minori to Amalfi , Capri , Positano , Ischia and Salerno .
