Just a short stroll from Marske beach and the popular village square, you’ll be perfectly placed to enjoy everything the North Yorkshire coast has to offer. The Space: Vermont has a stylish open plan kitchen, living and dining area. The space has been decorated with a green feature wall, a flat screen TV and neutral coloured sofas to create a beautiful space to relax. You’ll have everything you could need to prepare meals during your stay as the kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware. You can enjoy your meals at the breakfast style bar which is accompanied by four brown leather bar stools. There is a separate WC on the ground floor. On the first floor, you’ll find two ensuite bedrooms. The master bedroom features a mustard yellow feature wall to add a pop of colour to the otherwise neutral space. A lovely space to unwind, there is a double bed with plush bedding to ensure you have the best sleep possible. The ensuite bathroom boasts a bathtub with an overhead shower, WC and basin. Head to the second bedroom and you’ll find twin single beds with an ensuite shower room, WC and basin. There is an enclosed garden at the rear of the property. With a dining table and four chairs, it’s a great place to soak up the sunshine. Guest Access: Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. There is on site parking on the driveway for one vehicle. Additional free on street parking is available and no permit is required. If you are looking for a stay for a group of 8, there are often opportunities to rent Vermont and the neighbouring property The Tardis together. The Neighborhood: Marske-by-the-Sea is a delightful village located on the North Yorkshire coast, less than 10 minutes from Saltburn and Redcar. The village square is packed with independent businesses, including dog-friendly cafes, pubs, micropubs and restaurants. Nearby is Marske Valley Gardens where you can explore walkways lined with beautiful flowers. Head to Marske Sands and you’ll find a long stretch of gently sloping sandy beach. The famous Cleveland Way snakes its way across the cliff tops and along the beach to Saltburn and beyond. Neighbouring Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a great place to visit during your stay. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance. You can also find popular villages and towns such as Staithes, Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby further along the coast. Getting Around: Vermont is within walking distance of all that Marske has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Saltburn, Staithes, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors. Marske Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Longbeck, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London. There are plenty of bus routes throughout Marske. Hop on the Arriva X4 route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Whitby.
