This is a lovely, recently renovated, 3 bed house of typical Bulgarian construction. The lounge and kitchen areas adjoin via an archway and are quite cool. The bathroom/ toilet is accessed through a separate doorway under the house. There is a lovely shaded area under the house, where we often put the table and chairs and use this as a dining/ sitting area. The bedrooms are accessed, in typical Bulgarian style by stairs on the outside of the house, the bedrooms all leading off a small lobby area. The main double bedroom has a small balcony accessed through french doors, this is a great place to sit and watch the world go by, ( usually sheep, goats, donkeys and geese). There is a patio area shaded by vines, and a large area of rough garden, great for kids to explore and play, but not laid to lawn. Now with a lovely private pool and patio area, for swimming and sunbathing. Pool approx 7m long. The Village Malomir village, is very quiet and peaceful, with friendly locals, who love to give gifts of tomatoes, cucumbers peppers etc, but speak very little English. If you want to experience the real country then this is for you. Great for all ages who like to experience new cultures, and enjoy simple pleasures. The area is rich with wildlife, storks nest round the corner from the house, and chickens, geese, sheep, goats and donkeys are a regular sight. The local area Yambol town is only 20mins drive. This bustling town has shops, bars, theatre, nightclubs, a market and an open air pool.Great for a bit more life but cheaper and less touristy than the livlier coastal resorts. Bourgas town is just over 1 hours drive, and beaches about 1.5 hours drive. The area is also perfect as a base for anyone looking to purchase a property here, with all parts of Bulgaria reachable by car within 3/4 hours.
