The spacious kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with oven, hob, a large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, : everything you need! For those who prefer the shade there is a large covered terrace area with table and chairs, ideal for al-fresco dining during the heat of the day. Lush tropical gardens surround the property, and the upstairs terrace has a superb view of the Atlantic, and the lighthouse at Alfanzina. Baby equipment such as Cot and High chair are available for a small additional charge. Car hire, which we can arrange if required, is recommended but not essential. Alternatively we can arrange transfers for you and your party from Faro Airport direct to the accommodation. Price available upon request. Carvoeiro is approx. 40 minutes easy drive along the coastal motorway from Faro Airport. Car hire is recommended in order to visit many interesting places. A short walk from this property is the bustling town of Carvoeiro with a fabulous selection of restaurants and bars (English babysitter available), and a choice of beautiful beaches and fabulous clifftop walks. There are many banks and cash withdrawal machines, and three golf courses are within 5 minutes drive.The big supermarket, Intermaché, on the road to Lagoa is a few minutes’ drive. Visit Monchique mountain or the reservoir for stunning scenery and restaurants, where you can eat a 3 course meal with wine and coffee for under €10! Two big water parks (Slide and Splash and Aqualand) are within 10 minutes drive, and Zoo Marine for the whole family within 20 minutes drive. The Algarve Shopping Centre also 20 minutes drive with its great High Street shops and restaurants as well. There are some wonderful beaches close by. In addition to the beach at Centianes, within 5 minutes drive are the stunning Praia de Marina, Benagil, Caravalho, Carvoeiro and Albandera. The coastline is spectacular with great views and great cliff walks. Vale do Milho 9 hole par 3 course is very close by. The Nick Price/David Leadbetter, Pestana Golf Resort (Vale do Pinta and Gramacho) is 10 minutes drive. The Henry Cotton Penina and Alto Club Championship Courses, Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golf Do Morgardo courses are all within a 20 minutes drive.
