This superb, one bedroom modern apartment with air conditioning, private terrace and panoramic sea views is within a prestigious private gated complex just 40 minutes drive from Faro airport. Situated on the hillside overlooking the picturesque Albufeira Old Town, this is the ideal choice for a sophisticated holiday in the heart of the Algarve. PLEASE NOTE: This apartment is in a peaceful closed condominium with several older generation occupants. We therefore do not accept any hen parties, stag parties or same-sex groups under the age of 45. Cerro Mar Colina is one of Albufeiras most prestigious establishments, offering peace and tranquillity along with all of the conveniences you could wish for including fabulous outdoor pool with swim-up bar. There are also a range of high standard facilities offered at the Cerro Mar Hotel opposite, including a state of the art gymnasium, indoor heated swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms, a tennis and squash court, all available for a small extra charge. These facilities are provided by the Cerro Mar Hotel which is part of the Cerro Mar complex. Guests staying in Cerro Mar Colina apartments may use them for a small extra charge, subject to availability. Please note that these facilities can be withdrawn or closed down by Cerro Mar Hotel without prior notice, especially during Winter months, and we cannot be held responsible if at any time they are not available for our guests to use. Please note that the swimming pool and swim-up bar are not open for use during winter months and therefore there may not be sunloungers at the poolside during that period.) This fantastic, spacious one bedroom apartment is available to rent twelve months of the year, and is the perfect base for your holiday in the beautiful Algarve. Situated on the 3rd floor and served by a lift or stairs, the expertly designed living space consists of a lounge, dining area with double sofa bed offering enough space for the children or guests, and fully fitted kitchen and bathroom of the highest standards. Air conditioning and Wi-fi are included in the rental price. Living Rooms - Modern, airy and stylishly decorated room with large comfy sofa with integrated chaise which can be converted to a double sofabed. Elegant dining table with matching chairs for 4 people, Flat screen TV with UKTV channels, and Air Conditioning. Patio door access to balcony/terrace with modern comfortable lounging furniture. Kitchen - Modern and stylish with fully fitted storage cupboards and integrated appliances. Electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave , toaster and kettle. Access to the balcony/terrace. Bedrooms - One double bedroom with fitted wardrobe and doors leading to balcony. Modern and bright Twin beds with leather 2 drawer bedside units and built in floor to ceiling wardrobes plus a safe for valuables. Access to the balcony/terrace. Bathroom - Modern bathroom consisting of bath with overhead shower, WC, bidet and hand basin. Other - Private terrace with outdoor dining table and chairs, and comfy modern outdoor sofa and armchairs. The spacious private terrace has outdoor dining table and chairs and comfy outdoor sofa & armchairs, enabling you to make the most of stunning sea views. The apartments large communal swimming pool is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and terraces. Complimentary sunbeds and umbrellas are provided, and the pool area benefits from a well stocked poolside snack bar serving a varied selection of food and drinks - a great place for relaxing, drinking chilled cocktails while sitting on bar stools in the water! NOTE: Prices quoted are for up to 2 people, additional guests can be accommodated on the double sofa bed at £5 per person, per night . Baby equipment can be rented for a small fee by prior arrangement and we can arrange airport transfers and car rental. This can all be arranged directly with us in advance of your arrival. We provide a maid service twice a week in summer and once a week in winter , this is included in the rental cost. The nearest sandy beach is just a 500 metres stroll, and the vast array of shops, stylish boutiques, bars and restaurants of the Old Town are within a few minutes walking distance. Car hire is not essential. We can arrange airport transfers for those wishing to take a break from driving, you will find absolutely everything you need for your perfect holiday within easy walking distance of the apartment. Albufeira is approx. 40 minutes easy drive along the coastal motorway from Faro Airport. Care hire is recommended in order to visit many interesting places. There are supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away in the centre of Albufeira Old Town. The big supermarkets, Modelo and Lidl, are a 10 minute drive. Albufeira has an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops. There are many banks and cash withdrawal machines. There are two big water parks. Slide and Splash about 25 minutes drive, Aqualand is 20 minutes drive, and Zoo Marine for the whole family within 15 minutes drive. The Algarve Shopping Centre is also 15 minutes drive with its great High Street shops and restaurants. There are some wonderful beaches close by. In addition to the large golden beaches, there are more intimate beaches such as those at Sao Rafael and Castelo. The coastline is spectacular with great views and great walks. The nearest golf course, Victoria Golf Course, is 7 km from the hotel. Many other courses such as the Balaia Golf course (nine holes), Salgados Golf Club, and Pine Cliffs, Golf and Country Club are a short drive away. Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses. Our friendly English speaking staff are on hand to welcome you, assist you when necessary and recommend places to visit. As a small family business we look after a few apartments in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the apartment before your arrival. We can provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the property. *All bookings between 01 November and 31 March are subject to an additional charge for electricity, payable monthly, charged at 0.20 cents for each unit of electricity used. Our mobile phone number is available 24 hours a day during your stay for emergency calls. PLEASE NOTE - Please note, after booking the property you will be required to complete and return booking forms and a standard terms of rental agreement. This is to protect you, the guest, as well as the property owner. You will also be required to provide passport information in advance of arrival, this is a legal requirement in Portugal.
