Casa Dorotea is a spacious and elegant apartment situated in a tranquil area but only a few minutes from the town centre of Meta di Sorrento. It is approximately 180 metres squared and can sleep up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. Casa Dorotea features a garden, air conditioning and winter heating in every room and Wi-Fi Internet access. While staying at Casa Dorotea, you will be in the seventeenth-century historic centre of Meta di Sorrento. The closest restaurant, a grocery store and the bus stop for the EAV bus are 400 metres (1300 feet) away. This bus will take you to Sorrentos Marina Piccola (port) and Sorrentos train station where you can get trains to Pompeii and Naples or buses to Positano and Amalfi. The closest beach is roughly 800 meters (half a mile) from Casa Dorotea. We can even organise a free transfer from the train station on your arrival and departure (please book in advance). Casa Dorotea is located on the first floor and is one of three apartments in the block. It is accessible from the garden via an external staircase with approximately 20 steps. The garden is 400 metres squared and is partly shaded by tall palm and lemon trees. It is equipped with a table, chairs and two sun loungers. The living room is paved with characteristic terracotta tiles. The modern furnishings are stylish and comfortable. There are two large sofas and a satellite television. The room has two windows with a view of the garden and the terrace. It is equipped with air conditioning/heating. The dining room is accessible from the living room and has a dining table which can accommodate 8 guests. Leading off the dining is the recently refurbished kitchen. It is well equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with a freezer, a dishwasher and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The kitchen has a window with a view of the garden. You can access the beautiful en-suite bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a double bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). An additional single trundle bed is available (on request) to make it a triple room. The room has a window with a view of the patio down below the villa and the garden with home grown vegetables. The bedroom is equipped with a TV and air conditioning/heating. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a flat screen TV, a toilet and a bathtub with shower and a Jacuzzi. You can even watch the television whilst a hydromassage!You can access the second bedroom from the corridor. It has twin beds (80 cm/32 inches) and a view of the garden. The bedroom is equipped with a flat screen TV and air conditioning/heating. The bathroom has a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. It is accessible from the corridor. There is also a study with a computer, books and a desk. There is French window which gives access onto the terrace, facing the garden. The terrace is 40 metres squared and is accessible from the lounge through sliding French doors. It is equipped with a table, chairs, sun loungers and a BBQ. From the terrace, you will have a view of the garden below and of the other buildings in the surrounding area but you will have your own privacy. Here you can relax with a drink and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Next to the study, is a third bathroom with a washbasin and a toilet. At the end of the corridor, there is a third bedroom, which also has a view of the garden. This is a double room but the beds can be separate to make it a twin. The bedroom is equipped with a flat screen TV and air conditioning/heating. You will not need a car to stay at Casa Dorotea but if you do have one, you may be able to park it free of charge, off the road, only 30 metres away. Alternatively, you can park the car in a pay and display car park, (approximately 100 metres away) on request free of charge to you.
