There are hundreds of bars restaurants and shops with a very thrilling night life in chawang and plenty of taxis to take you back to cheong mon. The beachs on koh samui are the best in the world and there is always some beach you can find which will be praticaly empty. There are plenty of places to explore around the island from the big budda at Bophut to Elephant trekking in middle of the island but it is the weather which is so fantastic all the year round.
