Villa Alen is perfect for those who want a private pool, sea views and the ability to stroll into the centre of Yalikavak. Great for large families and groups - 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens. (Sleeps 10) This is a tastefully completed detached 4 bedroom villa with private pool and gardens. There is a seperate gate at the bottom of the garden that leaves you stones throw from the sea front and Yalikavak promenade. Yalikavak, itself truly offers something for everyone whether it is the charming fishing harbour or the billionaire life style of the yacht marina The villa provides spacious accommodation with the entrance on the middle floor leading into the open plan living/kitchen area with full panoramic windows overlooking the gardens /pool and those lovely sea views. There is a well equipped fully fitted kitchen including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, full oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and a breakfast bar with bar for indoor dining (although unlikely to be used when the balcony makes such a perfect venue for eating!). In total there are 4 bedrooms (3 double bedrooms ( 2 upstairs and 1 on the ground floor) and one further bedroom with bunk beds on the upstairs floor). If required a nineth or tenth guest can be accommodated on the sofabed in the second small living room leading to the pool/gardens The Ground Floor (access to the garden/pool ) has a small living room area and kitchen area where you can relax yet still be in the company of those having fun or fix yourself a quick snack from the fridge without having to go to the main floor. At ground level, there is a garden area, a private pool with stone surround with outside lounge furniture. Around the pool there are sunloungers with padded cushions. An ideal villa for large families or groups of friends close to the centre of Yalikavak Yalikavak Yalikavak dubbed as the St Tropez of the Bodrum Peninsula. Yalikavak is situated on the Aegean Coast and has a wonderful climate characterised with hot summers and mild winters. The summer season is from May to late September, with temperatures from 26°C in May up to 34°C in July. The once sleepy fishing village is growing into a major centre on the peninsula whilst still retaining its charm. It now boosts three major supermarkets, local clinics and a number of hotels open all year round offering cinema, jazz nights, yoga etc for both local residents and visitors. Yalikavak is renowned for its amazing sunsets, unspoilt shoreline and clear blue seas. It is ideal for sailing and water sports and attracts many foreign yachts to the marina The newly named Palmarina operates througout the year with a fantastic new shopping village and nightclub to match the best in the world. Some of the top restauranters from Istanbul and exclusive designer shops are included in the new development. Admittedly the owner is aiming at the millionaire if not billionaire market but we can vouch for the fact that it is a spectacular place to visit if only to see the incredible Superyachts moored there. If you are feeling adventurous maybe you can even charter a yacht yourselves. Yalikavak is located just 15 km from Bodrum town and is surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery on the Bodrum Peninsula. The relaxed atmosphere makes it the perfect resort for those who want to experience authentic turkey, providing real local life at reasonable prices. Nearby Bodrum will more than fulfil your nightlife requirements with a wide array of shops, bars and clubs. It is only 20 minutes away by minibus (dolmus). All beaches along the peninsula are clean and the water crystal clear. Sun loungers and parasols which you can use are provide by near by bars. It is courteous to buy a drink if you a using the sun beds , this is common arrangement on most beaches along the Bodrum peninsula. There is a good selection of restaurants and bars and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The small harbour has good selection of traditional Turkish restaurants selling excellent fresh sea food, you can usually manage to find a table on the edge of the harbour which proved for marvellous views during you meal. For snacks you can visit one of the several cafes in the small town centre. Where every you choose to dine you will find that the staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. Yalikavak really does provide something for everyone. THINGS TO DO... There are many things to do on the Bodrum peninsula apart from enjoing the sunshine, it is one of the most beautiful peninsulas in Turkey. From cosmopolitan Bodrum Town to the south, to Gulluk in the north-east, every corner of the peninsula offers something different. Whether its golf, water sports, ancient history, beach life or the natural world you are after, the Bodrum peninsula has it all. From splashing around in aqua park at Ortakent, visiting the bustling shops and markets in Bodrum Town and Turgutreis, day trips to Yalikavak with it stunning sunsets and Gumusluk with its famous fish restaurants, Scuba Diving and Wind Surfing in Bitez or Ortakent and much much more. Youll need to come back again..... With sea temperatures ranging from 14 to 25 degrees between summer and winter, Bodrum is a great location for diving holidays at any time of the year. With numerous centres offering PADI, CMAS and Baracuda courses for all levels The Greek islands are literally a stones through away if you fancy a change of country for the day. After only 20 minutes on the hydrofoil you will arrive in Kos that is just opposite of Bodrum. DEDMAN AQUAPARK For the more energetic amongst you, a funpacked day can be spent here riding the exhilerating waterslides. Located just outside Bodrum, there are many pickup points arranged via a shuttle bus or plentiful car parkng should you wish to drive. TURKISH GULET CRUISES Why not take advantage of Bodrums alluring coast line by going on a daily gulet boat trip, stopping off at secluded coves for a spot of sunbathing, swimming and snorkelling. Alternatively, in the areas maritime tradition, we can organise a private yacht charter from one of the many locally-based agencies. Also Within Reach: - Pamukkale: Literally translated as "cotton castle", the amazing calcium rock formations should be seen to be believed. While in the area, it is worth visiting the nearby ancient city of Aphrodisias. - Ephesus: This amazing ancient city can be reached in about 2 and a half hours with the Temple of Artemis known as one of the 7 wonders of the Ancient World and the House of the Virgin Mary where she was known to have spent her last days. Nightlife Bodrum and Gumbet Bodrum’s nightlife is the most lively along the length of the Aegean. Indeed, Bodrum has more bars per area than any other place in Turkey. By night, head to the mile long Cumhuriyet Street, also known as ‘Bar Street’ for as much all-night partying as you can take. Live music, local and international DJs and show dancers are all on offer. Visit one of the worlds few open air nightclubs like the famous Halikarnas or dance the night away at sea on the Club Catamaran. Gumbet is the Party resort of the Bodrum peninsula and is a very popular tourist resort for the younger generation. Gumbet suits all tastes and has a variety of bars and discos to choose from. Try the typical style Turkish bar and listen to the live music or why not try your own bar crawl and head towards the clubs in the main street called bar street where all types of music from pop, rock, RnB and dance is played.
