The Space: **This spacious Southtown 5 bedroom home just south of downtown San Antonio. The home is 5BR and can sleep 9 in beds. There are also several couches in the home and airbeds are available. ** Three of the bedrooms have KING beds! **The outdoor space at our home is amazing. Huge covered patio great for small get togethers and property is fully fenced with covered parking in rear of home. **PLENTY OF PARKING FOR AT LEAST 5 CARS, INCLUDING 2 COVERED SPACES. Parking area is behind the house and fully enclosed by fence/gate. **Smart TVs for you to log into your favorite streaming services. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire home including the detached guest house. Interaction with Guests: We always will respect your privacy, but please feel free to ask about any recommendations that we can give you - we are born and raised in San Antonio and can provide you as much information as you would like about our beautiful city. The Neighborhood: Our home is an up and coming urban area very close to downtown San Antonio. From where you get on the Riverwalk at the end of the block it is only a two mile walk along the beautiful San Antonio River to downtown attractions and the Alamo! Or stop your walk at about a mile and check out all that Southtown and the Blue Star Arts Complex has to offer with its amazing restaurants and shops! The main touristy part of the Riverwalk is only a 5 minute Uber ride away! Almost all of downtown San Antonio is surrounded by railroad tracks and the area where our house sits is no exception. If you are a light sleeper you may be awoken by their choo-choos. An overwhelming number of our guests have had no issue with the noise so please read our reviews, but just want to make you aware of the potential for train noise. You can get almost anywhere you want in the downtown area via car in 5-10 minutes. Uber and Lyft services are easily available from the home as there are many drivers typically within a few miles. Getting Around: Walking - you can be on the Mission Reach portion of the San Antonio Riverwalk within minutes which is connected to downtown area attractions by the Riverwalk, the Pearl Brewery and the San Antonio Missions. Definitely walk along the river, it is beautiful! The Riverwalk stretches from the historic Missions in the South to the Pearl Brewery to the North and is all connected - dont miss it! Biking - San Antonio has a program called B-Cycle where you can rent bikes throughout the downtown area. There is a station at Roosevelt Park which is less than .3 miles away. Most areas of the Riverwalk allow bike traffic. Uber/Lyft - you can easily get a ride through ride sharing services and all major attractions in downtown are 5-10 minutes away via car. With several top rated restaurants only about 5 minutes away! Other Things to Note: The home has Smart TVs - feel free to login into your favorite streaming services. There is high speed wireless internet. There are exterior video cameras at both exterior doors for our security. Children are welcome but our house is not childproofed.
