From Casa La Trocha you can get to the coast in 30 minutes, lakes in 20 minutes and cities such as Malaga in 1 hour and Granada with its world famous Alhambra palace in 2 hours. The stunning costa del sol is only a 30 minute drive. We are situated in a perfect location for you to have a restful and mesmerizing holiday but also for you to explore this diverse and stunning part of Southern Spain. If you desire, Sun, walking , bike rides , horse riding, bird watching or simply relaxing then you have found it at Casa la Trocha. Please note if you do wish to walk to Comares which depends on your fitness levels it is achievable in 30 -40 minutes and in peak season would be very hot then a car is recommended, we have many walkers keen to come to Casa la Trocha mid and off season, if though you wish to explore further afield then a car is recommended as although buses are clean and cheap they are not frequent. The tracks for walking are rustic and historic so you do need decent fitness.
