However, it is possible to visit the workshops of salting fish, baths, and the mausoleum that houses the "Rua da Princesa". At the southern edge of the peninsula is Comporta, a village of just over 1000 inhabitants, a land of vineyards and rice inserted between the plains of Alentejo and the Atlantic shores.
