A most enviable spot, at the start of the Paphos pine forest, on the top of the hill just minutes from the Argaka Dam, above the luscious, scented fruit orchards, offers the most spectacular views across the fertile groves of Argaka, and beyond the crystal clear turquoise blue waters of Chrysochou Bay and into the Akamas Peninsula. Whilst offering a spectacular open aspect, this villa in Argaka, sitting in a large plot is not overlooked by anybody else. The accommodation comprises of an open plan living, dining and kitchen areas on the ground floor. There is a safe at the villa. The master bedroom with a double bed and ensuite shower room is also on this level. The two twin bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom and ensuite shower room are located on the first floor, as is the large balcony with sitting facitlies from where the spectacular views can be best enjoyed. Outside the villa offers built barbeque facilities to the rear and a superb private, pool area to the front and lower down. Permanent shade is provided by the pergola there is plenty of room round the large 10m x 5 m pool. The pool area and the pool itself are illuminated at night making it a pleasant environment to while away the evenings and ideal for a night refresher plunge when it is needed. The Paphos District The Paphos region This south-west corner of Cyprus has an ambience all of its own: soft breezes, old stone, enchantment and an air of antiquity. This is the kingdom of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, Paphos itself is really two towns, each with its own character; Ktima on the cliff and Kato Paphos by the sea, two kilometres down the road. The one is unchanged over centuries and thoroughly Cypriot while the other has expanded over the last decade from a sleepy fishing village and harbour into a bustling, busy, sprawling cosmopolitan resort which is still growing Argaka The Polis / Argaka area There are lots of activities in Polis and Latchi ranging from water sports, boat trips, fishing, go-karting, mini golf, nature walks, historical sites such as the Baths of Aphrodite, Bowling, Safaris, Sunbathing on the natural beaches, Cycle routes and much more. Within a few minutes drive there are several local tavernas and an Irish bar offering live entertainment and reasonably priced meals. There is also a bakery and 3 mini markets in the village or travel 10 minutes by car to Polis for the main supermarket and a variety or good restaurants and banks. Latchi is about 15 minutes by car and worth a visit for a good selection of restaurants serving freshly caught fish in the harbour. How to get there Directions from Paphos Airport Drive from Paphos Airport (there is only one way out) until the T junction and turn left towards Paphos. After about 1 km turn right and drive North, then after 1 km turn left to join the new motorway (A6) to Paphos. At the end of the motorway you will find a roundabout. At the roundabout choose the 2nd exit to Polis (B7). You will pass through (or by) the villages of Mesogi, Tsada and Stroumpi, Yiolou Skoulli in sequence. You will arrive in Polis approx 30 min (from the end of the motorway) As you enter Polis outskirts there is an EKO Petrol station on your left you will see signs directing you right towards Argaka, Pomos, Pyrgos. Turn right. Drive straight on, you will see Papantoniou supermarket on your right (large yellow and green sign) immediately followed by another petrol station. Shortly after on the left you will pass a large school. You will then come out of Polis and into Limni and pass a Go-Kart and crazy golf centre on your right, the sea is to your left, this is the coast road. 3.5 KM after the Go-Kart track pass the Halfway House Taverna on your right and a bakers on your left, you will see a Kiosk on the corner on your right, turn right before the kiosk, follow the road up and round the bends. After a short while you will come to Argaka Village. Keep going straight through the village and up to the top of the hill. The road will bare left and the villa can be found on the right in an elevated position.
