Villa Alfa, an elegant and fine house, is a magnificently sited villa overlooking the beautiful stretch of coast as far as the promontory at Capo d’Orso and the bay of Salerno, a wide view of the sea and the most picturesque part of Amalfi, photographed and printed in every postcard. Situated along the road leading from Amalfi to Positano and Sorrento, it is suitable for those who are looking for peace and tranquility without being ´off the beaten track´ as Amalfi and all that it offers is reachable by a short drive (3 km). The recent renovation made with special care, has transformed it in a very pleasant holiday house offering high level of privacy and unbelievable evocative atmosphere. The interior of Villa Alfa is airy, fully of light and immaculate. It has the warm welcome of home: the choice of colors, the floors in antique terracotta tiles, the high vaulted ceilings, the rooms dimension, the blend of antic pieces and modern design, the high quality drapes and many important ornaments and valuables create a refined and elegant house and ensure to the guests a surprising pleasure of staying and any kind of comfort. The total area of the villa, spread out over three levels connected with each other by external stone stairways, is 250 square meters indoor and 600 square meters of outdoor area consisting of terraces and gardens with wide panoramic views of Amalfi and the sea. ACCESS to the villa is by means of a staircase which goes up from the area where you can park your cars. 110 steps lead to the main gate opening into a well kept garden which enjoys an extensive view of the sea. Check-in procedure Check-in time is between 4,00 and 8,00 p.m., from Monday to Saturday. You will be met and taken to the booked accommodation, asked for a photo copy of your Id or passport, any extras and the Breakage deposit (in cash only in any currencies) € 1.500,00 – this is refunded on your departure day, less any breakages. We strongly recommend contacting our land agents the day before or early morning of your arrival day, to let them know how you intend getting to the resort and approximate arrival time, they will in this occasion be able to advise of any local fiestas, roads closed etc... Check-out time is between 07:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., from Monday to Saturday. On departure the property has to be left tidy, with the kitchen clean and free from trash. Should these conditions not be respected, there will a deduction from the deposit - amount corresponding to the extra cleaning time. Arrival and departure times can be arranged outside these times or Sunday, for this service a supplement of € 55,00 is applied. Local Supplements Household linen and service: Mandatory, € 200,00 per week, payable locally in cash. Including maid service 5 hours per day (Monday-Saturday) and one change of linen midweek. City tax: Mandatory, is € 1,50 per person, per day, payable locally in cash. Electricity: 300 Kw per week are included in the rental price.
