This very spacious luxury 3 bedroom villa benefits from outstanding sea views, large 12m x 4m swimming pool, roof terrace, secluded garden and Wifi internet. This beautiful villa is just a 5 minute walk to the nearest sandy beach and the villa is located just 300 metres from the sea benefiting from amazing sea views from the villas private roof terrace. The villa is a few minutes walk to a selection of restaurants, bars and shops. A car is not required as if you do want to branch out to the more lively tourist area, the bus service which runs every 15 minutes is just a few minutes walk from the villa. Chlorakas Just 5 minutes walk to the sandy beach and just a few minutes walk from a selection of restaurants, bars and shops. A bus stop offering easy access to Coral Bay and Kato Paphos is just a 5 minute walk away. You can take a swim at the beach a further 50m down the coast. Also you can find a beautiful footpath, which follows the coastline for several kilometres; it is ideal for jogging or for a quiet stroll and offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean. Nearby you can visit the postcard-perfect St George chapel and marvel at its architecture and frescoes. 2.7km in the other direction you can find the world famous Tombs of the Kings, and if you continue for another couple of kilometres, you will find yourselves in the small harbour and castle of Kato Paphos, right next to the Mosaics and other antiquities; which are listed as an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, forming a large open air museum. A well known landmark in Chloraka is the shipwreck. The vessel was left stranded on rocks near the Paphos lighthouse, where it remains to this day. The area of Chloraka has enough shops, restaurants and banks to fulfill the needs of locals and visitors. It is a reasonable distance to Paphos Airport and other major towns such as Coral Bay and Kato Paphos. The St. Georges Church, the historic Boat and Tomb of the Kings are three main historical landmarks of the area of Chloraka . This area is surrounded by rolling hills, the Mediterranean sea and its magnificent sunsets. CORAL BAY AREA Coral Bay approximately is the well known beach resort for the Paphos district and has become a lively resort with plenty to offer in terms of amenities and activities. The center of the resort features a wide selection of restaurants offering both Cypriot and International Cuisines, cafes, bars, shops, a choice of supermarkets, several banks, a chemist and a laundry. The resort boasts two sandy beaches, the closest one to the villa being Corallia Bay, the quieter of the two. The popular and busy Coral Bay Beach, a sandy horseshoe shaped bay honoured with a Blue Flag of the European Union. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire, water sports are on offer and there are two beach cafes providing refreshments. You can enjoy water sports here. Untouched nature and clean beaches, orchards and banana plantations, fruit gardens surround this area of Paphos. Protected zone of Akamas National Park only 5 km from the villa. Popular zoo with birds park located in a few kilometers from the villa. All kinds of infrastructure, such as a supermarket, mini markets, various shops, bars, restaurants, bank, bus stop, childrens play center are within walking distance from the villa. For a taste of the more traditional, approximately a few kilometers away is the Church at St George which overlooks the modest fishing harbor from where you can enjoy some of the islands most memorable sunset views and enjoy a traditional Cypriot meze meal at one of the small selection of family run tavernas. For nature lovers the start of the protected Akamas Peninsula is just to the north of the village. Paphos Town approximately 15 kilometers away, was once the capital of the island is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the worlds heritage. The remains of villas, palaces, theaters, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The well preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings are probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made. Ano Pafos on the cliff is the main administrative center and residential district while Kato Pafos, by the sea, is the main tourist area built around the harbor and medieval port. The Paphos Zoo and the Horse Riding Stables which cater for all ages are both within the Sea Caves area and only a few minutes drive away. Mini golf, water sports and go-karting are all activities available in the resort of Coral Bay and if you extend your exploring to encompass the town of Paphos, the list of available activities expands to include a snooker hall, bowling alley, water park, several Heritage sites, attractive harbor area and modern shopping facilities. There are 4 golf courses; Tsada Golf Course, Secret Valley Golf Course, Aphrodite Hills Golf Course and Elea Golf Course all within approximately a 40 minute drive. Coral Bay is the most popular beach in the Paphos district. It is a crescent moon of fine sand, with a scattering of shingle and rock, shelving gently into the sea. There are three tavernas on the beach and adequate toilet facilities. This is a busy beach in peak season and is perfect for children and water sport fanatics alike. Within driving distance (or a long walk) is the town of Peyia. Polis and Latchi and other landmarks are all within easy reach. Regular bus services to Paphos, Peyia and other areas are available throughout the day. Golfers have an ideal opportunity to tackle the challenging courses at Aphrodite Hills, Secret Valley and Tala within picturesque surroundings. For the more adventurous seeking walking treks and historical monuments, there are the Akamas mountains and Troodas mountains These are all within easy reach, taking about 30 minutes by car . The main tourist resort are bustling with shops, markets, museums, art galleries, restaurants, nightclubs, the list is endless! However, there are still many smaller villages where life carries on as it has done for decades. Take some time to explore the villages and see traditional handicrafts being made. Here Cypriot life is at a very Cypriot pace, slowly, slowly! The island is at the heart of three continents and has an area of approximately 9,250 square kilometres. The stunning coastline stretches for over 800 km and ranges from rugged and rocky to fine, golden sand shelving gently into the sparkling, crystal-clear Mediterranean sea. Cyprus is steeped in rich history, over 9,000 years old, and has many wonderful archaeological treasures. The occupation by many civilisations, including the Romans, Byzantines and Greeks, have all left a dramatic influence. There are crusader fortresses surrounded by tall cypress trees, Greco-Roman theatres carved into rock faces and Byzantine monasteries perched precariously on mountain tops. Areas of interest include: Byzantine Museum and several other museums Paphos Medieval Fort Ayia Solomoni Church and Theoskepasti Church Tombs of the Kings The Mosaics if Paphos Petra Tou Romiou (Birthplace of Aphrodite) Baths of Aphrodite in Akamas Mountains Ayios Neophytos Monastery and Chrysoroyiatissa Monastery The Paphos District Paphos was once the capital of Cyprus and is full of artefacts, cafes, restaurants, bars and discos. It is now divided into two distinct areas, one area is ideal for those who enjoy shopping, local culture and ancient history and the other for eating and drinking into the early hours. Together with the beautiful beaches, Paphos is a great place for everyone. If music be the food of love then read on, as Paphos is the resort for you. The one time capital of Cyprus, Paphos is full of interesting artefacts, cafes and restaurants, as well as bars, discos and plush hotels. A beautiful resort with beaches to match, that is suited to anyone and everyone. Transfer time from Paphos airport is approximately 30 minutes. The number activities that can be enjoyed in and around the Paphos area are endless, from spending time on the beach, to walks along the coast or up in the mountains, bird watching, or looking at the numerous historical sites found all over the Island. There is so much to do in Paphos, these include Sandy Beaches, Waterparks, Fair Grounds, Go Carting, Golf nad Mini Golf, Boat Trips, Safari Trips, Zoos,, WaterSports, The list is endless... Not unsurprisingly on a Island full of resorts, Cyprus has plenty of places where you can enjoy water sports. Theres also at least one diving site in each of the big resorts. Mountain biking and hiking are possible, with specially marked trails, on the Akamas Peninsula and in the Troödos, where also in winter Cyprus only ski resort can be found on the north-eastern face of Mount Olympus. Plus, what Mediterranean resort these days would not be without a golf course or two - there are several courses that have been completed or under construction, with the most popular in the Paphos district, being located at Tsada not too far from the Villa. There are a number of businesses based in and around the Paphos Harbour area, that offer water sports and other water based activities, such as glass bottom boat trips, details of which will be in the Villa.
