This lovely and cosy villa is located in a quiet area north of the vibrant coastal town of Alvor. The villa has a very spacious living and dining room, a large outside kitchen and three nice bedrooms. But first and foremost it has an exceptional, unique and gorgeous garden. It took the owner a whopping 24 years to build and grow it. The garden contains not less than 52 different fruit trees. A lot of them are indigenous but the majority is imported from Portugal’s big sister country, Brazil. Some of our guests launched a contest by asking their children how many different types they could recognize. So far, nobody counted all 52. So far nobody could, because there are so many different types. The garden flourishes from March until December every year. And as a guest, you are invited to pick and eat your own fruit. You can also enjoy all the great outdoor activities Alvor has to offer. There is even a small airport where you can go sky diving. Alvor still has an active fish market and thus also fabulous fish restaurants. The beaches are considered to be amongst the best of the Algarve. So, if you are looking for a varied holiday the Villa Serra e Mar is the right choice. The use of the air conditioning, cot and highchair, as well as the pool heating are optional and not included. The costs of the final cleaning are excluded.
