On a small hill, just 7 km from Arezzo, lies this stylish holiday apartment on the ground floor of a former farmhouse. The large property is completely fenced - the garden, play and pool area are exclusively available to guests! The center of the apartment is the large living area with an open kitchen, divided by arches. There are three bedrooms with exit to the garden (one of them is a walk-through room) and two bathrooms. The upper two floors are not inhabited, the owner lives in the annex, with separate access. On the property you will find covered seating, a barbecue, a volleyball court, table football and table tennis, 4 bicycles are available. The pool area with terraces and deck chairs is also fenced. From anywhere you can enjoy a wide view over the olive groves in the picturesque landscape as far as Arezzo. Stroll in Arezzo through the central Corso, which leads you up into the old town and to the cathedral. There are at least three churches worth seeing in Arezzo: the cathedral itself, the medieval “Pieve” and the church of San Francesco with the famous cycle of frescoes by Piero della Francesca. Every first weekend of the month, the entire old town is livened up by the large antiques market; in June and September, the traditional Saracino equestrian games take place on the Piazza Grande. Other excursion destinations: the picturesque Etruscan town of Cortona (30 km), Monte San Savino and Lucignano (20-25 km); the Casentino Natural Park with its castles and forests; Poppi for golf players (40 km); Sansepolcro for leisurely strolls (40 km); Montepulciano (60 km) for wine tasting. Siena with the beautiful square “Piazza del Campo” is at 80 km and can be reached in less than an hours drive. Upon request, the owner will be happy to cook for you typical Tuscan dishes. The next village Giovi with shops, ristorante and bar is at 1.5 km.
