Between Arezzo (7 km) and Casitiglion Fiorentino (10 km) lies this former farmhouse on the edge of the Chiana Valley, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. For Tuscany specialists it is a very special charm to inhabit a classic "Leopoldina" house: The massive farmhouse from the 18th Century once housed big peasant families who farmed the surrounding land. Today you can spend a wonderful holiday here: The former stable has been turned into a wide dining room with open kitchen corner and direct access to the garden; a large bedroom with bathroom, a bathroom and a toilet are also on the ground floor. On the 1st floor, which is reached via a central stone staircase, there is a bright living room with fireplace and four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Above one bedroom is a loft with a single bed. On the completely fenced plot there is a pool area with sun terrace, a seating area under the traditional mulberry with barbecue, pizza oven and fountain; plenty of space for movement, volleyball. A small adjoining annexe is closed. The decor is rustic and in Tuscan style. Slightly below the house, along the central channel of the Chiana Valley, a cycle road leads from Arezzo (7 km) to Lake Trasimeno (30 km). In just 3 km distance there is a famous riding stable for private lessons. About 5 km above in the mountains, while hiking and picnicking, you can enjoy the view of the valley from the top of the natural park of Lignano. On request, the owner will organize for his guests a cooking service (Tuscan cuisine) or Pizza evenings around the pizza oven of the property; wine tastings in the surrounding "Cantine", trekking or sightseeing. Locally available are olive oil, honey and wine from the owner’s own vineyards. Do not miss to visit the charming cities of Siena (60 km) and Florence (80 km)! A short unpaved driveway leads to the house.
