The 12th century church of Saint Nicholas, which in ancient times had a defensive role, lies at the centre of the village. Here, you can find a plethora of excellent restaurants serving traditional food as well as local shops. Close by is the famous "Cingle to Tremolat", a bend in the river offering magnificent panoramic views of the Dordogne valley. The medieval town of Lalinde (14 km), with its little lake ideal for picnics and lively Thursday market is also worth a visit.
